This is the most common question we hear as contractors, and rightfully so! The research before you invest into a deck rebuild or renovation is important, but we are here to help make it a little easier in figuring out how much your new deck will cost. While it's a simple question, the answer can vary widely depending on several key factors. The size of the deck, the type and quality of materials used, and the inclusion of additional features like built-in lighting or fire elements all play a significant role in the final price. Let's take a look at a few examples!
$22,000 - $27,000

This price range takes into consideration square footage, elevation, materials, and stairs.
Approximately 280 sqft of space (14ft x 20ft).
Trex Enhance decking
Trex composite railings all around
Elevated deck
No deck lighting or fire features
$32,000 - $37,000

This is a new deck build with all new framing and materials.
Approximately 420 sqft (12ft x 35ft)
Trex Select in the color "Saddle Select"
Trex Select composite railings on perimeter and stairs
Fascia and underboard
$10,000 - $15,000

Approximately 281 sqft between the two patios
Trex Enhance decking
Railing on one side
Demolition and haul away old decking
$100,000 +

This deck has a lot of layers... we have the balcony with some kind of rain catch feature, the back patio, fire feature, side patios, outdoor kitchen set, and pergola.
Balcony with Trex decking, railings, and rain catch system = $20,000
Custom pergola with rain catch system = $17,000
Lower patios approximately 1,650 sqft of Trex Transcend decking = $118,000
Fire feature (gas) = $3,500
Outdoor kitchen appliances = $10,000
Now that's luxury!
